Judith Ann Keener

Judith Ann (Miller) Keener, 66, of Hamburg, passed away Monday April 29, 2013, in Reading Hospital and Medical Center, of natural causes. She was married to the late Larry W. Keener, who passed away October 2, 2004.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Bessie (Haag) Miller.
She was employed in the restaurant business for many years, her favorite being Reginas Pizzeria in Maryland. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and the outdoors. She also enjoyed owls and roosters. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed family gatherings, especially when surrounded by her family during Thanksgiving dinner.
Surviving are four children, Keith A. Keener, husband of Lillian, and Kim K. (Keener), wife of Robert Miccicke, both of Bernville; Deborah A. Keener of Mohnton; and Marcie L. Keener, fiancé of Jeff Kepple of Stevens, Lancaster County. There are also eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; one brother, Jerry Miller of Canada; three sisters, Marilyn (Miller) Morrison of Delaware, Janet (Miller) Groves of Canada and Bonnie (Miller) Eshelman of Morgantown. She was predeceased by a sister, Susan Miller and a brother, Glenn Miller.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 3rd at 11 a.m. in Friedens Church, 28 Wolf Creek Rd., Shartlesville, PA, with Rev. Jerry Kulp officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining Friedens Church Cemetery. Family and friends may call Friday morning from 10 a.m. until time of service in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Ave., Laureldale, PA 19605. The Kirkhoff Funeral Home, Bernville, is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
