Joyce L. (Seip) Luckenbill

Joyce L. Luckenbill, 78, of Bernville, passed away Wednesday, December 23rd in the Mifflin Center, Shillington.

Joyce was married to Marvin C. Luckenbill. Joyce and Marvin were married on October 31, 1953 and celebrated sixty two years of marriage.

Born in Marion Twp., she was the daughter of the late Harold N. S. Seip and Edna M. (Smith) Seip.

Joyce was employed by Carl R. Bieber Inc. in Kutztown. She enjoyed camping and going to the beach.

She was a member of Little Swatara Church of the Brethren where she was on the welcome committee and the church decorating committee.

Joyce loved spending time with all her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Additional survivors include her children, Sherry A. wife of Brian Bordner of Strausstown, Rosemarie J. widow of Gary Unterkofler of Mohrsville, Craig S. Luckenbill and wife Jenny of Bernville, Brenda L. wife of Danny Strunk, Sr. of Bernville, and Bonnie J. Luckenbill and companion Randy Copenhaver of Bernville.

There are thirteen grandchildren, Nicole, Brian, Melissa, Justin, Joe, Steven, Jessie, Danny Jr., Ashley, Brodey, Brandi, Samantha, and Emily.

Also, nine great grandchildren.

Joyce has a sister, Janice wife of Raymond Kemmerer of Alsace Twp.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Harold Jr., James, and John.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 2nd at 11 am in Little Swatara Church of the Brethren, 31 Rehrersburg Rd., Bethel, PA 19507 with Pastor Matt Christ officiating.

Family and friends may attend a visitation on Saturday morning from 9:30 until 11 am in the church.
Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Little Swatara Church of the Brethren at the above address.
