Josephine D. Lechner

Josephine D. (DeSantis) Lechner 85 formerly of Hamburg but most recently of Weatherly, PA died Wednesday afternoon at Geisinger South, Wilkes Barre. She was the widow of Frederick F. Lechner, who died August 25, 2006.

Mrs. Lechner was born in Reading on August 26, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Ottabio and Luigia (Costantini) DeSantis.

Surviving are her children; Edward C., Glenn A., and John E. Miller all of Weatherly.
A daughter, Kathy Peters, of Hazelton. She was predeceased in death by a daughter, Joann Hadzick.

Josephine had fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

A brother, Mario husband of Sue DeSantis of Reading. Two sisters; Anita wife of Carl Black of Laureldale and Teresa wife of Richard Isett of Temple.

Graveside services in Gethsemane Cemetery on Saturday at 11:00 with Deacon Joseph Lombardo officiating. Friends may call at the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc. Temple on Saturday 9:30 A.M. until 10:30 A.M.
