Joseph J. Sellari

Joseph J. Sellari, 79, of Temple, passed away Sunday July 7th in his residence of natural causes.

He was married to Shirley A. (Lash) Sellari. Joseph and Shirley would have been married fifty nine years on December 24th of this year.

He was born in Temple on December 17, 1933, son of the late Angelo and Mary (Spinelli) Sellari.
He was employed by NGK Metals in Muhlenberg Twp. for thirty eight years retiring in 1984.
He was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church.
He served in the Army from 1954 until 1956.
He enjoyed traveling with his wife Shirley, and they both loved animals.

Additional survivors include his daughter, Barbara J., wife of Edward Buck of Temple. He was predeceased by a son, Christopher Sellari who passed away November 2003.
There are three grandchildren, Ross, Nikos, and Cali Tsopinas Sellari.
He was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday July 11th at 10:30 am in Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, 3121 Kutztown Rd., Hyde Park, Reading, PA 19605 with Entombment to follow in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may attend a viewing on Thursday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am in Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society, 1801 N. 11th St., Reading, PA 19604. The Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., Temple are entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
