John DiGiamberardino, 90, of Lower Heidelberg Towship passed away Monday, August 10th surrounded by his loving family.
John was the son of the late Francesco and Edith (Valora) DiGiamberardino.
He is survived by his son, John A. DiGiamberardino and wife Diana, of Sinking Spring; daughter, Lucille Peck and husband Steven, of Ashford Kent, England; brother, Albert DiGiamberardino and wife Joan, of Sicklersville, NJ; sisters, Minnie Verchio of Pennsaucken, NJ and Dorothy Ward and husband Robert, of Sewell, NJ; sister-in-law, Betty DiGiamberardino; 5 Grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
John is preceded in death by his wife, Ines S. (Santarelli) DiGiamberardino, who passed away March 16, 2000; brother, Anthony DiGiamberardino; and brother-in-law, Ray Verchio.
Mr. DiGiamberardino worked first as an owner/operator of a mushroom growing business, J.I.L.J, Inc., between the years of 1946 and 1980. He then went on to own and operate Kirst & Sons Paint and Hardware Store from 1984 to 1992. He also spent much of his time investing in real estate.
John had a love of music, including country music and Frank Sinatra. He also enjoyed dancing.
