Joan G. Newpher, 72, of Laureldale, passed away Wednesday evening January 11th in the Reading Hospital.
Joan was married to Lee R. Newpher. Joan and Lee were married on April 7, 1967 and would be married fifty years this April.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late William B. Wilson, Jr. and Ruth Beulah (Miller) Wilson.
Joan attended Schuylkill Valley High School and was employed for many years at the Reading Hospital.
Additional survivors include a son, Kevin L. Newpher and wife Penny of Mt. Penn and two grandchildren, Brittany and Kyle Newpher.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
The Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., Temple is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
