Joan J. "Snookie" Clinton

Joan J. "Snookie" Clinton, 78, of Robesonia, passed away December 31st at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
Born in Temple, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. Clinton and Florence L. "Flossie" (Keller) Clinton.
She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, camping, and spending time with her family.
Ms. Clinton was employed by the former Luden's candy factory in Reading and the Mount Laurel Cannery in Temple.
Surviving are her seven children, all of Berks County: Bonnie Wentzel, widow of Kevin; David Clinton, husband of Pat; Teresa Weidenhammer, wife of Frank; Cindy Butzer, widow of Bradley; Sandra Merkel, wife of Gary; Marie Huey, wife of David; and Keith Clinton, husband of Michelle.
Also surviving are eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her five sisters.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 8th at 10:00 a.m. at the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple, PA 19560, with Rev. John P. Haag officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton. There will be a viewing from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc. at the address above to assist the family with funeral costs.
