Jeffrey T. Bowers

Jeffrey T. Bowers, 63, of Laureldale passed away Wednesday, April 10^th.

He was married for thirty-five years to his loving wife, Lois E. (Frey) Bowers

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Carl and Doris (Sittler) Bowers.

He was a graduate of Oley Valley High School.

Jeffrey was a Staff Sergeant in the U. S. Marine Corp. serving in Operation Desert Shield/Storm in Kuwait.

He was employed for ISIMAC Machine Co. in Blandon for forty years.

Jeffrey and Lois enjoyed riding their motorcycle together. They belonged to the Riff Raff Riders of Allentown.

He collected toy tractors, many of them antiques, he enjoyed drag racing at Maple Grove Speedway, and for many years he was the chairman of Horticulture and Hay and Grain at the Oley Fair.

Jeffrey had a great sense of humor.

Surviving along with his wife Lois is a son, Brian K. Frey. There are two grandchildren, Austin and Marylou Frey.

There are two brothers, Gregory Bowers and Lamar Bowers, widower of Kimberly Bowers.

He is also survived by two nieces, Kaitlin and Karli Bowers.

He is survived by three nieces on his wife’s side, Tracy Frey, Catherine McElroy, and Terri Schaedel.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday evening, April 17^th from 5 PM until 7 PM in the Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home, 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home on Thursday, April 18^th at 11 AM with an additional viewing on Thursday morning one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow in Laureldale Cemetery, where military honors will be performed.
