James H. "Jimmy" Stoudt 77 of Ontelaunee Township died Sunday morning in the Reading Hospital with his loving wife, Ardele L. (Roloff) Stoudt, by his bedside. They were married September 29, 1956 and they had just celebrated their fifty-seventh anniversary.
James was born on September 15, 1936 in Centre Township. He was the son of the late John and Eva (Bower) Stoudt
Surviving in addition to his wife are two brothers; Joseph and Charles Stoudt, both of Temple. Three sisters; Ruth widow of Joseph Kohler of Lenshartsville, Dorothy wife of Ernst Rothenberger of Spring Township, and Helen wife of Robert Becker of Laureldale
Also, there are several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great great nieces and nephews.
Mr. Stoudt served his country as a peacetime veteran in the United States Marine Corp.
James retired as a machinist in 2001 with twenty-nine years service from the former JOMA Machine Company of Mohnton
"Jimmy" was a real handyman and he could fix almost anything. He enjoyed fishing in Maryland.
Funeral services from the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc. Temple on Saturday at 10:30 A.M. with the Reverend Jerry Kulp officiating. Interment in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township.
Family and friends may call Saturday 9:30 A.M. until time of funeral services.
