Isadore "Izzy" E. Scholl, 91 of Crestwood died September 17, 2017 in his residence.
He was the life partner for over 60 years of Dr. Charles I. Hamilton who died December 15, 2013.
Born in Reading he was a son of the late Isadore H. and Bessie M. (Moyer) Scholl.
A 1944 graduate of Reading High School, Izzy was employed for 33 years in the accounting departments of the former Keystone Dairy, St Lawrence Dairy and lastly, Clover Farms Dairy all in Muhlenberg Township retiring in 1989.
He was an Army veteran and served along with his five brothers during World War II at the same time.
He was a life member and deacon of Olivet Reformed Church, Reading.
Izzy managed his household well and loved decorating for Christmas and gardening.
He is survived by 1 brother, Richard Scholl in Michigan and many nieces and nephews including Brooke Manbeck husband of Kitty of Reading.
He was preceded in death by brothers John, who lost his life in the Bataan death march during World War II, Charles, Lloyd and Harold. His sister, Marie (Scholl) Becker passed away in 2008.
Graveside services will be private in Trinity UCC Cemetery, Rehrersburg with the Rev. Bonnie Dalious officating.
