Irene D. (Wertz) Lape

Irene D Lape, 93 of West Reading passed away peacefully on Wednesday at 6:45 AM in Reading Hospital and Medical Center where she had been a patient since September 12th. She was the widow of Jacque Lape who died January 18, 2001.

Born in Muhlenberg Township, she was a daughter of the late Frederick R. and Esther S. (Bucks) Wertz.

She had been employed for many years in the office of Vanity Fair Corp. Wyomissing.

She is survived by 1 sister, Jean wife of Donald Delong of Laureldale and 1 brother Dennis Wertz of Reading and several cousins.

Graveside services and entombment will be Tuesday at 1:30 PM in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton. Relatives and friends may gather inside the front entrance of the cemetery until service time.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to, St. Labre Indian School, PO Box 216 Ashland, MT 59003-9989.

The Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home, Inc. Temple is in charge of arrangements.
