Henry J. Christ Sr

Henry J. Christ Sr., 96, of Shillington, passed away Saturday, October 11th at ManorCare in Sinking Spring.
He was the husband of Margaret (Zulick) Christ, with whom he shared 75 years of marriage.
Born in Pine Grove, Schuylkill County, he was the son of the late Ralph and Sarah (Sabila) Christ.
Henry had been employed as a superintendent for Potteiger Construction, retiring in 1980.
He was a member of Lincoln Park United Methodist Church, Shillington.
He was also a member of Isaac Hiester Lodge No. 660 and the Carpenters' Union.
Surviving along with his wife is a daughter-in-law, Graceann Christ, widow of Henry J. Christ Jr. who passed away in September 1994.
Also surviving are grandchildren: Kellie Cirulli and Erik Christ, both of Blandon; and great-grandchildren: Katalia Cirulli and Austin and Brianna Christ.
Henry was predeceased by three brothers and three sisters.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 16th at 10:30 a.m. at Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple, PA with Pastor David McMillan officiating. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. There will be a viewing from 9:30 until time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market St., Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
