Helen M. Hafner

Helen M. (Rada) Hafner 91 of Bern Township died Monday morning in the residence of her daughter, Lorrie Ann M. wife of Hank Smith.

Mrs. Hafner was the widow of William F. Hafner who died in 1982.

Helen was born in William Penn, Schuylkill County on December 31, 1924. She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Julia Rada.

Surviving in addition to her daughter is a son in law, James Maxwell Jackson of Venice FL.

Helen was predeceased by a daughter Mary Louise Jackson, who died April 21, 2010.

Mrs. Hafner was a member of St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday from St. Casmir's Roman Catholic Church, Shenandoah at 11:00 A.M. Interment in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.

Family will receive friends at the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, Bernville on Saturday 8:30 A.M. until 9:30 A.M.

Lorrie and Hank wish to give special thanks to caregiver, Sherrie Freyberger.
