Helen M. Franklin, 74, of Maidencreek Twp. passed away Sunday, January 5th in her residence.
She was the wife of John Franklin who died December 28, 2002.
Born in Hamburg, she was the daughter of the late Adolf Gartenschalger and Ruth (Glosser) Keller.
Helen was employed as a presser for the Fleetwood Shirt Factory for thirty years and subsequently for the J.C. Penney outlet for ten years, retiring in 2007.
She enjoyed going to craft shows and the casino. She also enjoyed gardening and loved animals.
Surviving are her six children: David Franklin, husband of Sherry of Telford; Dennis Franklin of Fleetwood; John Franklin, husband of Michelle of Reading; Kerry Franklin, fiancé of Christine Kelley of Reading; Julie Haas, wife of Ronald of Temple; and Bonnie Kratz of Oley.
There are many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are her siblings, Eva Day and Martin Keller.
She was predeceased by her brother, Leon Keller.
Funeral services are private at the convenience of the family and entrusted to the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., Temple.
