Harry L. Stephenson

Harry L. Stephenson, 94, of Lower Alsace Twp., passed away Saturday, October 29th in his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Harry was married to the late Betty J. (Trythall)  Stephenson who passed away March 30. 2005.

Born in Pottsville, he was then son of the late Harry E. and Ruth I. (Adams) Stephenson.

Harry was a graduate of Reading High School. He then was employed as an Assistant Manager for the A & P Market in Reading for many years. Later, he was employed for the Muhlenberg School District.

Harry enjoyed playing golf and listening to Country Music.

Most of all Harry loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by three children, Galen L. Stephenson and his wife Margaret A. of Spring Twp., Thomas L. Stephenson and his companion Cheryl Raven of Muhlenberg Park, and Cheryl L. Zawada and her husband Michael J. of Lower Alsace Twp.

There are six grandchildren, Jason Stephenson, Michael Zawada, Jessica Motta, Daniel Stephenson, Marissa Pollet, and Aaron Stephenson.

Also, there are eight great grandchildren.

Harry is survived by a sister, Betty Tobias and predeceased by four brothers and three sisters.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 5th at 11 am in the Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home, 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple.

A viewing will take place on Saturday morning in the funeral home from 10 am until 11 am.

Interment will follow in Laureldale Cemetery.
