Harry C. Dussinger, 74, of Sinking Spring, passed away suddenly on Monday January 20th in the Reading Hospital, shortly after being admitted, of natural causes.
He was married to Lanette A. (Miller) Dussinger. Harry and Lanette celebrated fifty three years of marriage.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Frank Dussinger and Elsie (Berkey) Dussinger.
He was employed by APR Plumbing and Heating Supply of Sinking Spring for twenty years. Previously, he had been employed by Automotive Service in Sinking Spring for thirty years.
He was a member of St. John's Reformed Church in Sinking Spring.
He served in the Marine Reserve.
He was a avid hockey fan, being a season ticket holder for the Hershey Bears for many years. Harry and Lanette enjoyed cruising and traveling to the casino.
Additional survivors include his children, Marsha A., wife of Dennis Stoudt of Pine Grove and Jeffrey L. Dussinger, husband of Sonia of Fritztown.
There are two grandchildren, Tara and Tyler Dussinger and five step grandchildren, Matt, Troy, Dustin, Bethanyann, and Felicity.
Also, two great grandchildren, Damon and Xander.
He was predeceased by a brother, Kenny Dussinger.
A memorial service will be Monday January 27th at 11 am in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple with Rev. Robert Ziehmer officiating. Family and friends may call Monday from 10 am until time of service for a visitation with the family in the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
