Grace L. Schreffler

Grace L. Schreffler, 98, formerly of Shartlesville & Hamburg, passed away Monday, April 20th in the Orwigsburg Center in Orwigsburg.
Grace was the widow of the late Norman M. Schreffler who passed away July 3, 1981.
Born in Upper Bern Twp., she was the daughter of the late John A. Henne and Sallie (Hix) Henne.
Grace was employed as a sewing machine operator for many years for the former Dutch Knitting Mills in Hamburg.
Grace was a member of Friedens Church in Shartlesville.
Grace enjoyed crocheting and watching baseball, especially the Phillies.
Surviving are two sons, Nelson W. Schreffler, and wife RuthAnn and Gerald L. Schreffler both of Hamburg.
There are five grandchildren, Chris, Michelle, Matthew, Michael, and David Schreffler. Six great grandchildren, Jazmon Bell and Dana, Samuel, Joshua, Kathryn, and Alexander Schreffler. Also, one great great grandchild, Trinity Moll.
Grace is predeceased by sisters, Laura Novak and Louise Umberger.
A funeral service will take place on Friday, April 24th at 11 am in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St., Bernville with Rev. Inge Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Friedens Church Cemetery in Shartlesville.
A viewing will take place on Friday morning from 10 am until time of service in the funeral home.
