Gloria N. Hummel

Gloria N. Hummel 90 of Muhlenberg Township died Tuesday evening in Berks Heim. She was the widow of Paul Hummel, Sr. who died in 1991.

Mrs. Hummel was born in Reading on December 26, 1925. She was the daughter of the late Elmer and Catherine (Nagle) Kantner.

Surviving is a daughter, Kathy E. wife of Donald Hill of Muhlenberg Township. Two sons; Paul R. husband of Mary Hummel of Muhlenberg Township and Kirk R. husband of Chyrl Hummel of Fleetwood. A daughter, Gloria Jean Boyer, died December 22, 2006.

Gloria had eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. A brother, Walter Kanter of Muhlenberg Township and a sister, Nancy Lutz of Laureldale.

Mrs. Hummel was employed thirty-five years by Bachman's Pretzels last working as a machine tender.

Gloria was a lover of animals. She enjoyed playing bingo and trips to the casinos.

Memorial services for Mrs. Hummel will be held from the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc. Temple on Friday at 1:30 P.M. Inurnment will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens.

Family will receive friends on Friday 1:00 P.M. until time of service
