Glenn H. Binkley 82 of Muhlenberg Township died Sunday morning in the Reading Hospital.
He was the husband of Marian P. (Berube) Binkley. They had shared sixty-two years of marriage, being married on March 3, 1950.
Glenn was born in Mohnton on August 24, 1931. He was the son of the late Wayne and Valeria (Patton) Binkley.
Surviving in addition to his wife are the following children: Christine A. wife of Keith Steckbeck of Exeter Township; Renae wife of Edward Fitchtorn of Shillington; Jeneen R. wife of Michael Gentile of Mohrsville; and Timothy W. husband of Kathy Binkley of Exeter Township. A daughter in law Rosa widow of Glenn H. Binkley Jr. who died July 12, 2008. Rosa resides in Exeter Township.
Nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Two sisters: Hazel widow of Robert Rhein a guest at the Mifflin Center and Noreen wife of Brian Ritz of Spring Township.
One Brother, Ward "Butch" Binkley a guest at the Denver Nursing Home.
Member of the Riverside Christian Church of Muhlenberg Township and the Hampton Fire Company.
Mr. Binkley retired in 1996 from the Schuylkill Valley School District with twenty-two years service, last working as the supervisor of maintenance.
Services will be private with interment in Gethsemane Cemetery.
