Giacomina Morganti, 85, of Muhlenberg Twp. passed away Friday, July 19th at the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg in Bethlehem.
She was married to Giacomo Morganti, with whom she shared 64 years of marriage.
Born May 15, 1928 in Santa Maria A Corte, Ascoli Piceno, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Carmine Cagnetti and Giulia (Gabbappini).
Giacomina was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church. She was co-owner along with her husband of the former G&G Mushrooms for 15 years. As a hobby, she loved to cook.
Surviving along with her husband are 4 children: Giuseppina Coccia of Temple, Luigi and Giovanni Morganti, both of Muhlenberg Twp., and Carla Calcagni, also of Muhlenberg Twp.
There are also 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Additional survivors are 2 brothers, Livio Cagnetti of Temple and Mario Cagnetti of Laureldale; and a sister, Irma Deluca of Laureldale.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, July 25 at 10:00 AM in Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, 3121 Kutztown Rd., Reading, PA. Entombment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum. Relatives and friends may attend a viewing Thursday from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM at Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd. Temple, PA preceding a procession to the church.
