Gertrude L. Angstadt, 86, formerly of Fleetwood, passed away
Sunday December 21st in the Laurel Center in Tilden Twp.
She was married to the late John E. Angstadt who passed away April 4, 2000.
Born in Cementon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul Mayer and Gertrude (Young) Mayer.
She was the owner of the former Boro Line Inn located in Topton.
She was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Kutztown.
Surviving are her children, John E. Angstadt, husband of Cheryl of Leesport and Tina M. Bechtel, companion of Patrick Hartman of Fleetwood.
There are eight grandchildren, Nicole Matthew, Tiffany, Eric, and Lauren Angstadt and Angela Iaccarino and Stacy and Jason Bechtel.
There are twelve great grandchildren.
She is predeceased by four brothers and three sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday December 29th at 10:30 am in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 14833 Kutztown Rd., Kutztown, PA 19530 with Monsignor Walter Scheaffer celebrant. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery.
A viewing will be held on Monday morning from 9 am until 10 am in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple, PA 19560.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's RCC at the above address.
