Gerald J. Kulp

August 13, 1934 — July 9, 2016

Gerald J. Kulp, 81, of Fleetwood, passed away Saturday, July 9th in his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Gerald married to Nancy A. (Hess) Kulp. Gerald and Nancy were married for sixty two years.

Born in Reading on August 13, 1934, he was the son of the late Charles Kulp, Jr. and Dorothy Catherine (Hittner) Kulp.

Gerald graduated from Reading High School in 1952.

Gerald served in the U. S. Navy from 1958 until 1960.

Gerald was employed by Hoffman Industries, Ira Fisher Appliances, and Carpenter Technology for thirty eight years as a metallurgist, retiring in 1992.

Gerald was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Reading.

Gerald was a volunteer for the PA American Red Cross, The Lutheran Home at Topton, TARSUS of Fleetwood, CASA, and Big Brothers of America.

Surviving with his wife Nancy are two sons, Terry S. Kulp of Walnuttown and Rev. Gerald S. Kulp and wife Shirley (Farr) Kulp of Allentown.

There are three grandchildren, Joshua D. Kulp, Benjamin J. Kulp, and Bethann Louise Kulp.

He is Predeceased by his brother, Charles Kulp and wife Jossie and a sister, Jeanette (Kulp) Dunkelburger and husband Bud.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 13th at 11 am in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple. with Rev. Robin Henry officiating.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday morning from 9 until 11 am in the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Good Shepherd Cemetery, Tuckerton.

In lieu of flowers the family requests gifts to Peace Lutheran Church, 1728 Centre Ave., Reading, PA 19601.
