George P. Kieffer

George P. Kieffer, 79, of Alsace Township, passed away Wednesday, December 1st in Penn State St. Joseph Hospital.

George was the husband for fifty-seven years to the late Karen L. (Timmins) Kieffer who passed away September 30, 2020 which left him broken hearted.

Born December 18, 1941 in Alsace Township , where he was a lifetime resident, he was the son of the late Allen and Fern (Hepner) Kieffer.

George was a craftsman, enjoyed genealogy, reading, history, and always kept track of the weather.

George loved and enjoyed being with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

George leaves behind a caring family and good friends.

Survivors include a daughter, Dawn M. Heck, wife of David L. Heck of Alsace Twp.

There are two grandchildren, Morgan L. Matesig, wife of James Matesig and Steven A. Heck and wife Rachel Heck.

There are two great grandchildren, Jacoby Heck and Brianna Heck.

Two brothers, Kenneth Kieffer and wife Sandra Kieffer of Temple and Allen Kieffer and wife Evelyn Kieffer of Mohrsville.

There is a predeceased brother, Charles Kieffer and survived by his widow, Earlene Kieffer.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 6th at 11 am in Salem Shalters Church Cemetery, 2032 Mt. Laurel Rd., Temple.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Rd., Birdsboro, PA 19508.

The Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home in Temple is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
