Gary J. "Pinky" Kohl

Gary J. “Pinky” Kohl, 85, formerly of Bernville, passed away on Sunday, October 29^th in his residence in Country Meadows.

Gary was married for sixty-five years to his loving wife Brenda M. (Kirkhoff) Kohl.

Born in West Reading he was the son of the late Lester Kohl and Mary (Angstadt) Kohl.

Gary was a graduate of Penn Bernville High School and served in the U. S. Marine Corp.

He was a truck driver for many years for various companies.

Gary was a very dedicated funeral assistant for the Kirkhoff Funeral Home in Bernville and the Milkins Funeral Home in Temple.

Gary was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church.

Additional survivors include Gary’s children, Lisa M. Beam, widow of Robert Beam and Kelly A. Fisher. Gary is predeceased by his son, Tim J. Kohl and survived by Tim’s wife, Joanne Kohl.

Also surviving are six Grandchildren, several Great Grandchildren, and one Great Great Granddaughter.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family with burial in Haags Cemetery in Bernville.

The Kirkhoff Funeral Home in Bernville is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
