Gail R. (Eberly) Holzman

Gail R. Holzman, 61, of Upper Tulpehocken Twp., passed away Sunday, November 27th in her residence.

Gail was married to Kerry L. Holzman. Gail and Kerry celebrated forty years of marriage on September 11th.

Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of Raeu L. Eberly of Newmanstown and the late Dorothy J. (Frysinger) Eberly.

Gail graduated from ELCO High School in 1973. She continued her education graduating from Lancaster
General School of Nursing in 1976 as a Registered Nurse.

During Gail's career she was as a Geriatric Private Duty Nurse, she was employed by Lancaster Osteopathic Hospital in the Emergency Room for two years, and also was employed by Berks Heim.

Gail loved babies and children.

Gail enjoyed spending time maintaining her garden around her house.

Gail was a member of Zion Blue Mountain United Church of Christ in Strausstown.

Gail loved spending time with her family.

Additional survivors include three daughters, Kelly R. Holzman-Hoover and husband Greg D. of Martinsburg, WV, Jessica L. Holzman-Varone and husband Matt D. of West Lawn, and Katie A. (Holzman) Lenhart and husband Greg M. of Leesport.

There is a granddaughter, Isabelle R. Hoover. She is predeceased by a grandson, Benjamin G. Hoover and twin granddaughters.

Gail is survived by her siblings, Glenn Eberly and wife Dorothy of Millroy, PA, Cindy Rambacher and husband Bruce of Newmanstown, Brett Eberly and wife Kim of Millbach, Lebanon Co., Dorene Graber and husband Gary of Lititz, and Bryan Eberly and wife Sonya of Coatesville.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 1st at 10:30 am in Zion Blue Mountain United Church of Christ, 6573 Old US 22, Strausstown, PA 19559.

Interment will follow in Strausstown Cemetery.
