Frederick C. Heberling

Frederick C. Heberling, 88, of Muhlenberg Twp., passed away Thursday August 21st in Reading Hospital.

He was married to the late Jean A. (Brown) Heberling who passed away August 29, 2002.

Born in Tower City, PA, he was the son of the late Charles and Ida (Holden) Heberling.

He graduated in 1944 from Porter Tower High School.

He then served in the Army during WW II in the Pacific Theatre.

He was employed by Dana Corporation as an electrician for thirty years retiring in 1983.

He was a member of Christ Church United Church of Christ in Temple where he formerly served on consistory for many years.

Surviving are Frederick's children, John A. Heberling, widower of Cheryl of West Lawn, Linda L. (Heberling) Eastman of Exeter Twp., Marilyn D. Heberling of Temple, and Michael A. Heberling, husband of Janet of Ridgewood, N.J.

He is predeceased by a son, Larry A. Heberling who passed away March 29, 1987.

There are two grandchildren, Tara Koch, wife of Brad Koch and Elizabeth Heberling-Yang.

Also, two great grandchildren, Lindsay and Emily Koch.

A memorial service will be Tuesday August 26th at 2 pm in Christ Church United Church of Christ, 4870 Kutztown Rd., Temple, PA 19560 with Rev. Dr. Harry Serio officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Church UCC at the above address.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
