Franklin L. Lorah

 Franklin Leon Lorah, Sr., 85, of Fleetwood, PA, passed away on Sunday September 24, 2023. He was born on December 16, 1937, and raised by Louise D. Gambler.

In his earlier years, Frank served in the U.S. Air Force, worked for the United Parcel Service, and spent 32 years as an employee of Carpenter Technology. Frank had a keen interest in trapshooting, Penn State football, and deer hunting. His family will always fondly remember his love for Labrador retrievers and the many dogs he had over the years. His teasing sense of humor will be missed.

Frank will be lovingly remembered by his family: daughter Deborah Albitz and husband Dave; son Franklin "Skip" Lorah Jr. and wife Linda; son Scott Lorah and wife Beth; grandchildren David, Stephanie, Jamie, and Ashley; great-grandchildren Cole, Zoe, Evan, and Olive; great-great-grandson Talon. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Nancy Lou Lorah, as well as his grandson Jeffrey Lorah and great granddaughter Tiffany Albitz.

On Saturday, September 30, 2023, the family will receive guests at the Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home (4914 Kutztown Rd. Temple) from 10:00 a.m. until the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Frank Lorah.
