Francis H. Litzenberger

Francis H. “Fran” Litzenberger, 91, of Muhlenberg Township died Monday morning in his residence.  He was the loving husband of Bessie J. (Mc Carty) Litzenberger.

Born in Leesport, Francis was the son of the late Arthur and Catherine (Balthaser) Litzenberger.

Surviving in addition to his wife  are two daughters; Jill K., widow of Dave Daniels of Millsboro, DE, and Robin L. Franco, wife of Alex Blanton of Fairfax, VA.

Six grandchildren; Micah De Lillo, Dustin Daniels, Alyson Daniels, James Franco, Ryan Franco, and Olivia Franco.  Five great grandchildren.

Mr. Litzenberger was a member of Bethany E.C. Church, Leesport.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He  retired from the former Meridian Bank last working as a fraud investigator. Prior to that employment he was a policeman in Muhlenberg Township for ten years.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019  at 12:30 P.M. from the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc. Temple with Reverend Marlin Lafferty and the Reverend Kirk Marks officiating. Interment in Laureldale Cemetery.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, January 26, 2019  from 11:30 A.M.. until time of services.
