Florence E. McDonough

Florence E. McDonough, 89, of Jefferson Twp., passed away Thursday May 9th in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Twp.

She was married to the late Marvin McDonough who passed away March 10, 2008.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Frank Stutz and Eva (Nora) Stutz.

She was formerly employed by Schoeners Candies in West Reading and Bachman Pretzels in Hyde Park.

Surviving are her children, Wayne A. McDonough, husband of Suzzann of Carlisle, Timothy M. McDonough, husband of Nancy of Womelsdorf, Patrick K. McDonough, husband of Bonnie of Birdsboro, Sharon L. Barker of Riverside, CA, and Kelly R., wife of Tim Wenrich of Jefferson Twp.
She was predeceased by a son, Dennis Lee McDonough.
There are sixteen grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother, Frank Stutz, Jr.

Funeral services will be Tuesday May 14th at 11 AM in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St., Bernville with Rev. Roderick Sutliff officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Little Tulpehocken Church Cemetery, Jefferson Twp. Family and friends may call Tuesday morning from 10 AM until time of service in the funeral home.
