Florence Marie Eich, 82 of Muhlenberg Township passed away in her home on March 14, 2017.
Born in Baumstown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Sara (Walleigh) Umpstead.
Florence was the widow of Perry Miller Eich, whom she was married to for 57 years.
She was a graduate of Hialeah High School, Hialeah, FL.
Florence was a clerk for Shoppe Rite for 18 1/2 years and Acme for nine years.
She was a dog lover, an avid Bingo player, and loved to spend her free time with her friends.
Survivors include her nephew, Robert P. Ganter, husband of Nina, Shoemakersville, and sister, Iva Davidheiser, Kulptown. She was predeceased by her sister, June Ganter.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2017 in Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc. 4914 Kutztown Road, Temple PA 19560. Friends may call from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, c/o Patricia Henry, 278 Gernant's Church Rd., Leesport PA 19533.
