Flor M. Carvajal-Alvarez

Flor M. Carvajal-Alvarez, born on September 21, 1925, in the Dominican Republic, passed away peacefully on November 2,2024, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. A remarkable individual, Flor dedicated many years of her career to Alexander Doll, where her strong work ethic shone.

Flor was not only an industrious individual but also a person with a deep commitment to her community. She spent much of her life traveling back and forth to the Dominican Republic, where she actively participated in efforts to build homes. This philanthropic work was a testament to her generous spirit and dedication to improving the lives of others, a mission she continued up until last year.

In addition to her professional contributions, Flor had a profound sense of family. She cherished time spent with her loved ones, often cooking for them, embodying a nurturing spirit that was evident in all aspects of her life. Flor found joy in playing dominos and reading the newspaper.

Flor is lovingly remembered by her children, Henry W De La Cruz, Francis M Carvajal, Nidia R Carvajal, Victor M De La Cruz, Julio C Carvajal, Ruth D Carvajal, and Robert H Carvajal; 27 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren who were enriched by her wisdom and warmth. She was predeceased by her parents, Jose Carvajal and Aurora Alvarez, one son, Pablo E De La Cruz, and one grandson.
