Filomena DiPaolo, 102, formerly of Temple, passed away Friday, April 21st in the Berkshire Center, Exeter Twp.
She was married for almost sixty years to the late William DiPaolo who passed away August 8, 1997.
Born in Swatara Twp., she was the daughter of the late Samuel Savini and Giovanna (Torquati) Savini.
She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.
She was formerly employed with her family at Savini Mushroom's and later for Myers Cannery.
Surviving is a son, Robert L. DiPaolo and wife Lucia V. of Wyomissing.
She is survived by a granddaughter, Dr. Ann Marie Stauffer and husband Mark of Reinholds and predeceased by a grandson, Michael R. DiPaolo who passed away October 6, 2016.
There are three great grandchildren, Julia, Emily, and Jared Stauffer.
She is predeceased by her siblings, Mary Mazzo, Alice Pace, and Julio, Anthony, Silvio, and William Savini.
The family would like to thank the Berkshire Center for the excellent care they provided for Filomena for the past eight years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 25th at 10 AM in Gethsemane Cemetery Chapel of Resurrection, 3139 Kutztown Rd., Reading, PA 19605.
Entombment will follow in the adjoining mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Guardian Angels RCC, 3125 Kutztown Rd., Reading, PA 19605.
