Fern P. Wenrich

Fern P. Wenrich, 82, of Reading, passed away Friday December 13th in the Reading Hospital.

She was married to the late David F. D. Wenrich who passed away June 11, 2012.

Born in Bernville, she was the daughter of the late Lehman W. Kissling and Florence A. (Stump) Kissling.

She was a member of St. Thomas Church in Bernville.
She was employed by Sovereign Bank in Wyomissing for nineteen years retiring in 1997.

She was a graduate of Penn Bernville High School Class of 1950.
She was well know as the candy lady. She loved bowling and had many great friends at the bowling alley..
She enjoyed playing cards, reading, and dancing.

She loved to laugh and always had great jokes to tell her family and friends.

She is survived by two daughters, Janice M. Berkley of Wyomissing and Lisa A. Citro of Robesonia.
She is predeceased by brothers, Arthur M. Kissling, Ralph A. Kissling, and Stanley L. Kissling. She is survived by her sister in laws, Marilyn Kissling of Bernville and Betty (Kissling) Duffy of Allentown.

There are eight nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday December 18th at 11 am in St. Thomas Church, 536 N. Main St., Bernville, PA 19506 with Rev. William R. Miller officiating. Interment will follow in St, Thomas Cemetery in Bernville. A viewing will take place Wednesday morning from 9 am until time of service in the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Thomas Church at the above address. The Kirkhoff Funeral Home, Bernville is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
