Faye B. Kauterman
January 20, 1937 — January 7, 2018
Faye B. Kauterman, 80, of Temple, passed away early Sunday morning, January 7, 2018. Born in Reading, Faye was the daughter of Ralph D. and Betty M. (Wertz) Biehl.
Faye worked as a supervisor at AT&T, retiring in 1994. After retirement, she would often be found working in the office at her son's shop, J&L Auto Service & Repair, in Shoemakersville. Faye was a people-person and enjoyed her relationships with clients at the shop. She was an avid gardener, growing vegetables and beautiful flowerbeds. Her specialties were roses and tulips. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren, having a special connection with each of them.
Faye is survived by her son, John R. and his wife, Lorraine (Brachman) Kauterman of Hamburg; three grandchildren: Fallyn Brachman, Michelle Kauterman, and John Jr. Kauterman; and a great grandchild, Chase Serfass.
Services for Faye are respectfully private. Her final resting place will be in Salem Shalter's Church Cemetery, Alsace Twp.
