Faith L. (Dietrich) Hoagland

Faith L. Hoagland, 76, formerly of Temple and currently of Mt. Penn, passed away Saturday, April 6 at Penn State Health St. Joseph. She was the widow of Fred R. Hoagland, Sr., who passed away March 2005.

Born in Reading on December 15, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Elizabeth (Rothenberger) Dietrich.

Faith is survived by her son, Fred R. Hoagland, Jr., husband of Robin (Homan) Hoagland.

She is also survived by her grandchildren Jonathan T. Garner fiancé of Brad Everhart, Ryan A. Garner fiancé of Nicole Torres, and Eveleen N. Hoagland; her great-grandchildren Raelyn Garner, Ian Garner, and soon to be joined by Mason Garner.

A woman of deep faith, Faith’s love for Jesus was greater than her love for C-SPAN. She was a crocheter, a knitter, and a jewelry maker. She enjoyed Elvis Presley and she treasured long talks with her beloved granddaughter. She loved her family most of all.

Funeral services for Faith will be held on Friday, April 12 at 11:00 AM at the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, 4914 Kutztown Road, Temple. Friends and family are invited to gather for a visitation and viewing from 9:00 AM until time of services. Interment will follow in the Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood.
