Eric T. Peters, 52, of Maidencreek Twp., passed away on Monday January 5th in his residence of natural causes.
He was married to Barbara (Gassert) Peters of Galeton, PA
Born in Reading, he was the son of Patricia A. (Brown) Peters of Maidencreek Twp. and the late Cecil H. Peters.
Eric was formerly employed by Kiwi Brand in Douglassville, Exide Corp. in Laureldale, and was a farmer in earlier years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and model rockets.
Eric would say " only left handed people are in the right mind".
Additional survivors include a son, Justin T. Peters of Galeton, Potter Co.
There are three siblings, Mark A. Peters, Denise M. Peters, and Michelle L. Peters all of Blandon.
A brother in law, David Gassert of Blandon.
Also, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He will also be missed by his beloved pet dogs, Lilly, Jayden, and Caressa.
Eric's family would like to thank the wonderful care given to Eric by his caregivers, Vanja, Liz, and Shauna.
A funeral service will held on Friday January 9th at 7:30 pm in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple, PA.
A viewing will be held on Friday evening from 6pm until time of service in the funeral home.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 North Third St., Philadelphia, PA 19123 and Wounded Warriors Project, P. O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas, 66675.
