Elsie A. (Schlappich) Bare

Elsie A. Bare, 99, formerly of Bernville, passed away Sunday in Berks Heim.

Elsie was married to the late Irvin R. Bare.

Born in Penn Township, she was the daughter of the late Raymond D. and Carrie H. (Ohlinger) Schlappich.

She was formerly employed by Gloray Knitting Mills in Robesonia.

Surviving are four children, Lee C. Bare and wife Jeanne of Womelsdorf, Frank R. Bare and wife June of Bethel, Irvin F. Bare and Mary Jane Moyer, wife of James O. Moyer, Sr., both of Bernville.

She is predeceased by a daughter Janet L. Dengler.

She is survived by many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great Great Grandchildren.

She is predeceased by eleven siblings.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St., Bernville on Thursday, June 29th at 2:30 PM.

Family and friends may call for a visitation in the funeral home on Thursday from 1:30 until 2:30 PM.

Burial will follow in Host Church Cemetery.
