Ellen E. Perry

Ellen Elizabeth (Partrick) Perry, 99, was born May 27, 1924 in Danbury, CT and passed away Oct. 15, 2023 at Reading Hospital.

She was a resident of Muhlenberg Township.

She was the daughter of the late Flora (Kellogg) Partrick and Starr Partrick.

Ellen was a 1942 graduate of Danbury High School and was employed as a bookkeeper for what is now Western Conn. State University.

She was married to the late Walter Henderson Perry in 1956, he passed away in 1988. They lived in Brookfield, CT.

She was predeceased by her Parents, Siblings Starr K, Barbara, and Theodore Partrick.

Survivors include: a daughter Elizabeth Perry Nelson, wife of Dale Nelson, Muhlenberg Twp.

Niece: Kathleen Olick (widow of Albert Olick), New Milford, CT.

Grandchildren:  Todd Nelson (Jennifer), Bethlehem, PA

                                Lynette Chapman (Paul), Champaign, IL

Great-granddaughter: Raylynn Chapman, Champaign, IL.

She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Riverview Park.

Ellen enjoyed playing her Lowery organ, crocheting, and playing card games with her family.

Funeral services will be held in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 4201 Stoudts Ferry Bridge Rd., Reading, PA 19605 on Thursday Oct.  19^th at 4:30 PM with a viewing from 3:30 until 4:30 PM in the church.

Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Brookfield, CT. on Wednesday October 25^th at 1 PM.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Memorial Fund at the above address.
