Elinor H. (Earhart) Strunk, 83, a devoted wife, and loving mother, passed away on May 20, 2024 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Born on July 4, 1940, in Mohrsville, she was a daughter to the late Harry and Anna Marie (Norton) Earhart.
Elinor was predeceased by her beloved husband Glen J. Strunk on November 17, 2008.
Throughout her life, Elinor exemplified grace and diligence. She worked as a Secretary for First Energy, formerly GPU, until her well-deserved retirement. Her commitment to her work and the relationships she built along the way left a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Elinor's genuine warmth extended beyond the workplace and into her community. She was a proud member of Christ Little Tulpehocken Church, where she found solace and strength in her faith.
Elinor's legacy lives on through her surviving family members. She is survived by her two daughters, JoAnne Isgro and Janet Bassi. Additionally, she leaves behind five grandchildren: Meghan, Sarah, Dominic, Catherine, and Sophia. A great-grandson is soon to join the family.
In remembrance of Elinor's life, a Viewing will be held at Kirkhoff Funeral Home 206 N. Main Street, Bernville on May 28, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. This will be followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.
Burial will be held privately.
