Eleanor B. Hill, 94, of Temple, passed away Thursday morning in Rosewood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Schuylkill Haven.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Thurlow and Elizabeth (Baker) Dreibelbis. Eleanor shared a loving marriage of sixty-eight years with her late husband Galen C Hill.
After retiring in 1984 with thirty years of service as a cafeteria employee in the Muhlenberg Twp. High school she looked forward to babysitting her new grandsons.
Eleanor was a PA State Roller Skating Pairs Champion in the early 1950’s and from a young age enjoyed gathering history of her Dreibelbis family.
She loved sewing, needlework, and baked an excellent cheese cake.
She is survived by her children, Beverly M., wife of R. Darrell Geissler of Abingdon, VA and Candace M., wife of Charles R. Campbell of Reading, PA; her grandchildren Chad B. Campbell and Kyle B. Campbell; her great grandchildren, Clayton L. and Dante S. Campbell; her step grandchildren Shawn B. Geissler and Kristin L. Lowe; and her step great-grandchildren Megan Geissler, Maddisen Selvage, and Lillian Selvage.
She is predeceased by her siblings, Melba Kercher, Earl, Thurlow, and Jasper Dreibelbis.
A funeral service will be held in the Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home, 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple on Thursday, June 30th at 11 am with a viewing from 10 until 11 am.
Interment will follow in Laureldale Cemetery.
