Edwin E. "Smokey" Greth

Edwin E. "Smokey" Greth, 65, of Paradise, Lancaster County, formerly of Leesport, passed away in his residence on Wednesday evening January 25th of natural causes.

He was married for forty four years to Kay (Long) Greth.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Ted Greth, Sr. and Helen (Check) Greth.

He was formerly employed at Ted Greth Truck Sales, with his father, in Kirbyville, Kerry Hertzog Auto Sales in Blandon, Keller Brothers Ford and Car Village in Schaefferstown and Lebanon, and Bobby Gerharts Truck World in Lebanon.

He enjoyed attending Nascar Races with his son Chris, traveling to the Casinos, and purchasing cars and trucks.

He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Additional survivors include two children, Christopher Greth and wife Linsey of Flying Hills and Amy Snyder and husband Spencer of Paradise.

There are five grandchildren, Collin Dian, Meadow, Vinnie, and Sammie Snyder, and Cole Greth.

Also, his siblings, Mike Greth and companion Elaine Iovanna of Temple, Carol (Greth) Smith, widow of Lenny Smith of Hamburg, and Judy (Greth) Allen, widow of Steve Allen of Kutztown.

He is predeceased by brothers, Ted "Rocky" Greth Jr., William Greth, and Jeffrey Greth.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 3rd at 2 PM in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple.

Family and friends may attend a visitation with the family on Friday from 1 PM until time of service in the funeral home.

Interment will be private at a later date.
