Edith M. Kehr, 100, of Shoemakersville passed away Wednesday, September 30th at Laurel Center, Hamburg where she had resided for the past few months.
Edith was the daughter of the late Howard and Mae (Brown) Wily.
She is survived by daughter, Barbara Adam, widow of the late Glenn Adam, of Shoemakersville; son, Barry Kehr and wife Dolores of Shoemakersville; grandchildren, Kris, Gwen, Craig, Tammy, and Brian; great-grandchildren, Lilliana, Matt, Nate, Collin, Nichole, Michelle, and Jennifer; and great-great-grandchildren, Zachery, Victoria, Gabriella, Alexander, Logan, and Brady.
Edith is preceded in death by husband, Edwin F. Kehr, who passed away December 7, 1969; son, Howard Kehr; two sisters; and a brother.
Mrs. Kehr had been employed by Izod in the embroidery department.
She was a graduate of Ontelaunee Township schools and had been a member of Grace Bible Fellowship Church, Reading, for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 6th at 11am from Milkins Giles Funeral Home, 4914 Kutztown Road, Temple with the Rev. Randall A. Grossman officiating. Interment will follow in St. John's Gernant's Cemetery, Leesport. A viewing will be held Tuesday at the funeral home from 10 am until time of service.
