Earl E. Bond, 83, of Upper Tulpehocken Twp., passed away September 28th in UF Health in Jacksonville, FL.
Earl was married to Sandra F. (Haag) Bond. Earl and Sandra were married for sixty-two loving years on September 26th.
Born in Upper Tulpehocken Twp., he was the son of the late Herbert P. Bond and Mary (Schucker) Bond.
Earl was Vice President and General Manager for Ressler Enterprises in Mt. Aetna for thirty years.
He was a member of St. Thomas Church in Bernville where he was formerly a Deacon and taught Sunday School and Bible School.
He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, traveling, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. He was also a Scout Leader and youth soccer coach.
Earl is survived by his loving children, Kerry L. Bond and wife Kathleen Bond, David S. Bond and wife Dawn Bond, and Sheila M. Gilmer, wife of Keith Gilmer.
Also, he is survived by his loving grandchildren, Scott Bond and wife Alyssa, Joel Bond and wife Meghan, Ashley Bond, Andrew Adams and wife Katherine, Nathan Adams, Patrick Bond and wife Amanda, Dale Bond, wife of William Houlette, Brandon Adams and wife Nicole, and Hope Bond.
He is survived by his loving great grandchildren, Blake Bond, River Adams, Kennadie, Kylie, and Carson Bond, Winter and Evelyn Adams, and Jonah Bond.
He is predeceased by his granddaughter Megan Adams.
Also, surviving are Earl’s siblings, Wayne H. Bond, Myrle M. Schlappich, Annamae Speicher, and Richard P. Bond.
He is predeceased by siblings, Elsie E. Fritz, Leroy W. Bond, and Rev. Arlan M. Bond.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 25th at 11 am in St. Thomas Church, 536 N. Main St., Bernville, PA.
Family and friends may attend a visitation with the family on Monday, October 25th from 9:30 am until 11:00 am in the church.
Interment will follow the service in St. Thomas Cemetery in Bernville.
The Kirkhoff Funeral Home in Bernville is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
