Doris N. Landis

Doris N. (Derstine) Landis, 85, of Bernville, passed away Wednesday, May 3rd in the Reading Hospital.

She was married to the late Curtis L. Landis who passed away April 24, 2008. Doris and Curtis were married May 13, 1950.

Doris was the daughter of the late Raymond H. Derstine and Susanna F. (Nyce) Derstine.

Doris enjoyed listening to gospel music and playing the accordion and organ.

Doris loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are two children, David G. Landis and wife Donna L. (Long) Landis of Bernville and Linda M. Landis of Texas.

There are two grandchildren, Adria, wife of Eldon Dieffenbach of Amelia Court House, VA and Angela, wife of Dr. Timothy Withers of Moseley, VA.

Also, nine great grandchildren, Josiah, Nathanael, Isaac, Makayla, Luke, Elijah, and Aaron Dieffenbach and Isaiah and Isabella Withers.

There is a brother, Kenneth N. Derstine, widow of Valerie of Quakertown, a niece Amanda Garber wife of Barry, and a nephew, Kenneth R. Derstine.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.

The Kirkhoff Funeral Home, Bernville is in charge of arrangements.
