Donna M Stoudt

Donna M.  Stoudt, 77, beloved by many and deeply cherished, peacefully passed away at Willow Brook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center on February 16, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. 

Born on January 21st, 1947, she was a daughter to the late Allen Brugh and Betty J. (Kirsch) Furter. Donna led a life rich in experiences and knowledge. She graduated from Empire Beauty School, and earned her Teaching Certificate to teach cosmetology, and completed her studies at Reading Hospital School of Nursing where she earned her LPN.

Donna's journey was one filled with kindness and selflessness, evident in her career as a Nurse in the Emergency Department at Reading Hospital for 7 years. Her commitment to caring for others was truly remarkable, leaving an indelible mark on both her colleagues and patients.

Outside of work, she took great joy in raising her two granddaughters, Kayla and Megan, as her daughters, and spending time with her family, whether it was at the Tea House, camping, or simply engaging in her passions for cooking and gardening. 

 She is survived by her daughter Stacy Brettman, wife of Brian; granddaughters Kayla Grodis, Megan Spohn, and Summer Brettman; great-granddaughters Avah Coriano, Amelia Vasquez, and Hazel Minnich; sister Tammy Biehl, wife of Dean; Godson, James Jones and a nephew, Christopher Jones.

In addition to her parents, Donna was predeceased by a daughter, Kelly Spohn. 

A viewing to honor Donna's life will take place on February 23rd at Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home, 4914 Kutztown Road, Temple, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service from 11:00 AM.

Burial will take place in Laureldale Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Donna's name may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation at diabetes.org.
