Donald L. Stoudt

Donald L. Stoudt passed away peacefully in his home on January 21, 2020.  He was preceded in death by former wife Kathryn Stoudt and survived by his daughters and their spouses Michele and Winfred Wright and Corinne and Robert Gerberich, 9 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his latter wife Ellen Meinhold Stoudt and survived by his stepsons and spouses, Eric and Carol Anderson, Bruce and Mary Meinhold and Brad and Melanie Meinhold, 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  Mr. Stoudt was also preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Mabel Stoudt and his sister Gladys Eyer.  He is survived by his niece Jacqueline Hoyer and her son.

After graduation from Penn Bernville High School in 1947, he joined the US Marine Corp where he was a radio operator with the rank of Sergeant .  Upon return from Quam he worked for Western Electric and then he became a 3rd generation business owner and painting contractor in Bernville, PA for over 30 years.  He was a pillar in his church and community both in Bernville and later when he retired to Millsboro, Delaware.  He was active in his church as a deacon at St. Thomas UCC in Bernville and later as a church Elder at Oak Orchard Community Church.  He also volunteered for 8 years, through age 90, at Atlantic Shores Nursing Facility in the recreation department.  He touched many  lives and he was a blessing to all.

On Saturday, February 1, 2020 there will be a visitation at noon until the Memorial Service at 1 PM at the Kirkoff Funeral Home, 206 N, Main St., Bernville.

Interment with immediate family.
