Donald Elam "Don" Delp

Donald Elam “Don” Delp, Jr., 51, of West Reading, passed away Thursday in Tower Health, Reading Hospital.

Don was born in Reading, he was the loving son to Cora Helen (Jones) Swisher of Alsace Twp. and the late Donald E. Delp, Sr. who passed away in 1984.

Don was currently employed as a manager for Jimmy G’s Beverly Hills Tavern in Sinking Spring.

He excelled in art, especially drawing and enjoyed maintaining his garden.

He was also a licensed auctioneer in the state of Pennsylvania.

Surviving with his mother Cora are four loving sisters, Connie J. McCoy and husband Michael of Temple, Carol M. Carbaugh and husband Keith of Fleetwood, , Diane R. Hetrick and husband Daniel of Alsace Twp., and Donna M. Delp-McCartney and husband Kevin of Alsace Twp.

There are eight nieces and nephews, Mandy and Alyssa, Shana and Shelby, and Cody, Ryan, Gabrielle, and Ben.

Don loved his dog “Buzzy” who passed away in 2021.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, October 21st at 2 pm in the Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home, 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple.

Family and friends may attend a visitation with the family on Friday in the funeral home from Noon until 2 PM.

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
