Dennis R. Rahn

February 24, 1943 — March 24, 2018

Dennis R. Rahn, 75, of Muhlenberg Twp., passed away Saturday in his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Dennis was married for thirty eight years to the late Deanna D. (Lawcock) Rahn.

Born in Temple, he was the son of the late William H. Rahn and Beulah (Seaman) Rahn.

Dennis served in the Army during the Vietnam War.

Dennis was the proprietor of Rahn's Pet Center in Muhlenberg Twp., a division of Rahn Enterprises Inc. He was the proprietor of Design House International.

Dennis was formerly General Manager of A. W. Golden.

He enjoyed Coin Collecting and his garden trains.

He and his son Michael were area disc jockey's.

He was formerly Scoutmaster of Troop No. 155 and Shikellamy District Commissioner of Hawk Mountain Council.

Dennis was Past Master of St. John's Lodge # 435 F&AM, Member of York Rite & Scottish Rite Bodies of Reading, Past High Priest Reading Royal Arch Chapter # 152, Past District Deputy Grand High Priest-Grand Chapter of PA, Past President Fellowship High Twelve Club # 669., and a member of the Odd Fellows, Leesport Lodge.

Surviving are two children, Michael D. Rahn and wife Jennifer Rahn and Vickie L. Rahn both of Muhlenberg Twp.

There are two grandchildren, Andrew "AJ' and Jayson.

There is a brother, William J. Rahn, widower of JoAnne Rahn of Riverview Park.

He is predeceased by a sister, Beatrice O. Quinn.

A viewing will be held on Friday evening, March 30th from 6 pm until 8 pm in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple.

Masonic service by St. John's Lodge # 435 F&AM will be held at 8 pm on Friday.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 31st at 10 am in Laureldale Cemetery in Tuckerton. Please proceed into Laureldale Cemetery and the funeral staff will assist you in forming a funeral procession in front of the office to proceed to the grave.

The Topton American Legion Post No. 217 will perform military honors at the graveside on Saturday.
