David A. McCarthy 54 of Tulpehocken Township died Monday in the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Kimberly B. (Mengel) McCarthy.
David was born in West Reading on February 27, 1961. He is the son of Michael J. McCarthy, Jr. and the late Pearl M. (Wagner) McCarthy.
Surviving in addition to his father and wife is a step-daughter; Ashley E. Klein of Fleetwood, and grandson, Maverick Bardsley.
David is, also, survived by two brothers; Kevin M. McCarthy of Atlanta, Georgia, and John R. McCarthy of Bernville.
McCarthy graduated from Tulpehocken High School in the class of 1979. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and always had a faithful dog at his side.
David was an auto mechanic during his lifetime.
Cremation services are entrusted to Kirkhoff Funeral Home, Bernville
