David R. Eshbach, 72, of Muhlenberg Twp., passed away Wednesday, June 25th in his home.
He had shared many loving years with his wife, Florence E. Rutter, who passed away February 28, 1988.
Born in Bechtelsville, he was the son of the late Clarence R. and Alice May (Reppert) Eshbach.
David had served as a medic in the U.S. Army. He was employed as a distribution manager for the former Kiwi shoe polish company in Douglassville.
He was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed collecting movies.
David was very generous with his donations to charity, especially children's and veteran's charities.
Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly S. Geiger of Muhlenberg Twp; and grandchildren, Benjamin and Jessica Geiger.
Also surviving is a brother, Bruce Eshbach, husband of Jo-Ann, of Bechtelsville, and their son, T.J. Eshbach.
There are also many nieces and nephews.
David was predeceased by siblings, May Cowan and Paul and Lee Eshbach.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
